Dash to the snowline is on……

We just had confirmation that the helicopter is taking off and the dash to sample the ice to snow transition is on. Tris and Tom will return this evening, and Jenine, Liane and Steffi will remain in camp. Marian is very excited – she is on the helicopter trip and will have snow and ice algae to identify of this evening with luck. More on progress next post…….
